BlueBroward.org website update and sponsorship opportunity

Filed under: BlueBroward News — David F. Carr @ 7:03 pm
Your Business HereWhat a great Democrat I am for supporting BlueBroward.org

The BlueBroward website (http://www.bluebroward.org) has just been reorganized and redesigned to get in fighting shape for the 2010 elections. You should find that it is easier to post events and share your opinions on the community blog because it’s all managed with the same password, and through the same online “dashboard.” I know that many of you are very opinionated, and I’d love to see more of you taking advantage of the opportunity to post your thoughts and candidate endorsements to the blog.

Or, if you see something good someone else posted to the blog, or an event you would like to share with your friends, consider posting the link to Facebook or Twitter or whatever other online communities you participate in.

For most members, your username is your email address (the address at which you are receiving this message). If you don’t remember your password, you can reset it via email.

Sponsorship Opportunity

Contact me if you have a business interested in sponsoring BlueBroward.org email broadcasts to the tune of $500 per year in return for Google-style text advertisement with a link and a short description that would be included with the regular Sunday roundup of events. BlueBroward is not organized as a non-profit, so the sponsorship would not be tax deductible. But this would allow me to cover the expense of moving to the MailChimp email list management service, plus some other expenses.

I’m sending you this message using the MailChimp service because they offer a free account for small lists, but BlueBroward won’t be eligible for much longer. This is the service I’ve been using with most of the commercial clients and campaigns I work with. It will allow me to do a better job of managing unsubscribes and spam complaints.

This sponsorship opportunity is for just one business or other organization (not a political campaign). I reserve the right to determine which sponsorship offers are most appropriate for this community. Email me back if interested.
