The Margate Democratic Club meets at The Leonard Weisenger Community Center on NW 10th Street, adjacent to The NW Focal Point Senior Center, in Margate at 7:00 PM on the 4th Monday each month.
At our first meeting this year on Jan 25th, Ken Evans, Broward County State Committeeman will be our guest speaker. Ken will update us on the Florida Democratic Party elections, as well as what we might expect from the rewriting of the Florida State Constitution.
We will also hear from club member Dan Cook, a board member of the ACLU, about the importance of the work of this organization.
In addition we will be receiving nominations for the 2017 Officers and Board.
