The Club will meet in the Clubhouse of the Park Place Condominium, 1350 St. Charles PL, Pembroke Pines.
Broward County Mayor Lois Wexler will discuss her priorities for 2008. Also speaking will be Lori Moseley, Chairperson of the Broward County Charter Review Commission. The Commission is in the process of holding hearings and developing recommendations on how Broward County be more efficient and effective. The recommendations will be on the November 2008 ballot for public approval. One of the recommendations being considered is an elected mayor for the county.
