Picnic for Democratic Grassroots Volunteers

Join us for a volunteer appreciation picnic. It's pot luck, so we'll really be showing our appreciation for each other, and patting ourselves and each other for a job well done helping elect Barack Obama our new President.
Please bring a pot luck dish and a contribution of $5 per voting age adult (kids welcome, no charge). The money will cover the picnic pavilion rental and any miscellaneous expenses.
Please RSVP via Meetup.com. You can use the "comment" field to indicate what you'll be bringing for the pot luck so others won't bring the same thing. We'll have hot dogs, hamburgers, and sodas.
Make sure you come to the right location: We'll be at Pavilion #11 at Plantation Heritage Park - actually in the "Duck Pond" area outside the main park (see area map). Because it's outside the main gate, attendees won't have to pay the park admission fee. It's across the street from the main park on Peter's Road, between University Drive and State Road 7.
