Here’s an Op-Ed You Should Read

    Andrew Dolberg is a board member of the Broward Young Democrats and a member of the Plantation Democratic Club.  He is Broward County native and President of Champion Briefs, an education resources company helping students with public speaking and debate skills.  Last Friday, the Sun-Sentinel published Andrew’s Op-Ed on how to curb gun violence in our country.  I urge you to read it and pay particular attention to his list of common sense proposals that should become the law of the land:

    I will be back at the West Regional Courthouse and Library (Pine Island & Broward) on Wednesday, February 21st, from 10 AM to 2 PM, registering voters and collecting requests to vote-by-mail.  How about joining me out there?

    On Friday, February 23rd, there will be a special forum sponsored by various Democratic Clubs, hosting Tallahassee Mayor and Gubernatorial Candidate Andrew Gillum.  The location is the Jim Ward Community Center, 301 NW 46 Avenue in Plantation, and doors will open at 5:30 PM.  Refreshments will be served.

    You may have also heard that students are organizing a March on Washington later in March.  Stay tuned for more information about that event.
