Good afternoon, everybody!
A couple of days ago, State Representative Katie Edwards announced that she would not run for re-election this year.
I am very happy to announce that my very good friend (and racquetball team member) Louis Reinstein has announced his intention to run in November for that State House seat in District 98 (representing voters in Sunrise, Plantation, and Davie.)
In addition to being a very valued friend, Louis is a well-respected attorney in Broward County (He even represented me when I was arrested several years ago for registering voters on federal property, but that’s another story!) and the current President of the B’nai Brith Justice Unit. Louis has helped to register voters, canvassed, and supported Democratic candidates up and down the ticket.
Louis firmly believes, as I do, that it is our responsibility to make the world a better place. He lives in Plantation with his wife, Adi, (who like my wife, is also an attorney) and their two sons. And from what I have seen, he may be the world’s best father.
I am convinced that, when elected, he will serve with honor, integrity, and distinction. I am delighted to say that I endorse Louis Reinstein as the next State Representative from District 98 and will do everything I can to help him get elected!
The time is short before the November election, so please let me know if you would like to join me in supporting this campaign.
