What is to be Done??

Guest Speaker:  Dr. Roger Whitcomb

Dr. Roger Whitcomb is a long-time Democrat political party activist. Early in his career, while a young professor at Westminster College in Missouri, he was a speech writer for then Attorney General John Danforth’s run for the U.S. Senate. While a professor of political science in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, he helped lead the fight to successfully unionize the faculty, later serving on several collective bargaining teams. He also became involved in both state and local politics. He ran several campaigns of candidates for the Pennsylvania legislature and has been an occasional consultant for Congressional candidates in his state. Toward the end of his academic career, he himself ran successfully for his city council, serving two terms and one as its president. He is proud to call himself a dyed-in-the-wool liberal.
